Oh my! look who’s here!
That was one long sabbatical…. (well, here’s not to say that I’m back for good, I just thought ‘hmm, it’s been a while and it might be nice to get back into things…)
A lot has happened since our marri-age. 2 of our other closest friends are now also married and I’ve been in my ‘new’ job for approx. 15 months. I do currently have good intentions to post more often. The thing aI find tricky is just finding the time. I really do have a really, really busy life at the moment and this is really the last thing on my mind….

Well, that resolution didn;t last very long now did it!??!
the problem that I’m currently experiencing is complete web-apathy… in addition to lack of time. I’m getting home after work and not wanting to be bothered to get the laptop out and start pissing about getting connected etc…
Perhaps this will change over the course of the next few weeks…? perhaps I’m just experiencing a bit of a honeymoon period following our wedding… (some photos uploaded on flickr of the wedding… been getting a couple of digital files from friends etc, so I’ve been trying to pick out a good selection. I can;t wait to see th professional ones! I’m just trying to be patient about it and not be mither! I’ve resisted te tempation uptil now so that’s good.
Speaking of weddings, it’s a week and half now since then and I can;t beleive how fast it went and how long ago it now seems. Even when i look at som of the photos, it’s like it’s not really me, in some ways…
in saying that though, I’ve been eating like a mad woman since then so I’m probably half a stone heavier! .. I did pretty much get to the weight I wanted to be so that was pleasing.
Ramble ramble… I start a new job on Monday…

Well, with today being the 1st day of a new month I thought that I’d put April behind me & try & turn over a new leaf for the remainder of the season.
The wedding is now less than one week away & i;m just sorting out all final bits and bobs which have had me busy for the majority of the long weekend. I treated myself to some Agent Provocateur underwear on Saturday and picked out some other things as guest thank you’s etc.
Ian & I celebrated out 11th year ‘together’ with a nice meal in a cute local restaurant. We hadn;t planned to do anything extravegant since the Wedding is on Saturday.. but lets’ just hope that the weather stays at least dry…. hopefully May will bring some sunshine to Manchester.
What else?
I’m not going to say too much, but there has been quite a number of major changes at work recently which I think will take a bit of gettign used to. I don;t really want to say much more since it’s hard to say who reads these things that may recognise names/places etc….
Clare, the lady who has been doing all my per-wedding pamper bits for the wedding came round on Friday to do a ‘rehersal’ for the wedding on my make up. I can;t say I’m the best person in the world at applying mayke-up so I thought it might be nice to get a ‘professional’ to do it. I tole her I didn;t really want to go for the ‘natural’ look I wanted a little bit of glamour too. The result was pretty amazing. The thing is with someone else applying your make-up is that they’re more likely to try things and do things that you would never think of putting on yourself…. I was really pleased with the finished product and I just hope Ian likes it too…. The funnest thing was she said that I looked like someone famous (which was a nice thing to say anyway) but this woman is SO MUCH MORE prettier than me! .. not going to say who because I’ll look ig headed!! 
That’ll do for now… I don;t want to bore you too much.. I’ll try my best to keep up with blogging from now on … but I can;t promise… sorry for the absence…

The thing that i don’t understand is, why do some people make bit deals out of the smallest, most trivial of things when other people just taken them in their stride and get on with it. I’m finding this more apparant with the wedding day finally looming and in my daily life recently, which is tending to cause an unbelieveable amount of un-necessary stress.
Example-> Ian & I have enough on our plate at the moment with just 3 weeks to the wedding – why, therefore are people trying to make even more work for us and make big deals over small things. I’ve smiled and absorbed it all in up to now but I’m pretty certain that won’t last for ever and I’d hate to be in the same room as me when I finally loose my patience… which could actually end up being on the wedding day if it carries on niggling me. I’m feel like I’m/we’re not being helped but hindered with everything and all this interferring is seriously trying my patience.
Oh and then there’s those people to speak badly of your good friends to your face… I really don’t appreciate this and in such cases, I think it’s best to keep some opinions to oneself especially when they are unjustified. How awkward these comments make others feel seemingly is of no concern to the person who is doing the bitching. It’s totally un-necessary and unfair to say such things and things like this really piss me off. Just because these people know you well, they think they have the licence to be so rude.

I think I actually slept well last night for the 1st time in ages…..!
The reason I think i know this is: I don’t actually remember waking up in the night thinking how tired I am and how much I wish I could juts get to sleep & the bed didn’t look like I’d staged some kind of wrestling match in the night, when I woke up this morning!
Perhaps my dose of insomnia has passed! [...but don;t speak too soon, suzanne!]
I just need to get into the habit of getting a bit earlier so that I still have time to make my juice but can get my train earlier, not the one I’ve been getting recently that gets me in work at 9.15am…
I think I’ll have the time to take some pictures tonight.

It’s been a few days since I last wrote.. was it Friday?
Ian & I had a takeaway with Ian & Amelia on Friday night. It was (as always) really enjoyable. Amelia is so big now and she still only 7 months! She thinks that she’ll have the baby early, although hopefully it’ll be before or after our wedding,not on the day!
Well, my birthday was pretty poo-ey actually.. I worked til 8.30pm. Danny, Kelly & Martin had come round by the time I got home. Vicki had text me during the day saying that she wasn;t well, & wouldn;t be coming round. Call me cynical but the timings of both their feeling un-wells always seem to clash with friend get-togethers….
On Sunday afternoon we went to St Helens for a bit of a combination of things, Ian’s mum & dad came with us and we all went out for something to eat. We didn’t get home til dead late and on Monday I was so tired.
I did get some nice presents so, if I get time tonight, I’ll take some pictures…
Last night the beautician Amelia recommended to me, Clare, came round to give me some more pre-wedding pamper. That’ll be all now til the week of the wedding.. I’m desparately growing my nails so they look nice by themselves rather than having false ones on.
It’s just 4 weeks away now and hopefully everything will come together smoothly!

Well.. the big 3-0 is approaching rapidly. Tomorrow I’ll be 29 and then its only 365 days til I hit 30….. aggghhhhh!!
Unfortunalty I’ll be working on a late til 8.30pm, which is a complete and utter shitter. I’ve tried to swop shifts but logically who is going to volunteer to work late on a Saturday night?!
I’ll be able to open my new blythe tomorrow too, and if I get some money for my birthday to can justify my purchase of my new huna doll…
I’ve ordered the new eyechips too…(bad suzanne, stop buying on-line…)
